Pauline Ferrand-Prévot Extends Visma-Lease a Bike Deal Through 2028, Targets LA Olympics

Pauline Ferrand-Prévot is all-in on her future with Visma–Lease a Bike, extending her contract through 2028 as she targets the Los Angeles Olympic Games and continues building on a stunning return to road racing.

​Tour de France Femmes champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has extended her contract with Visma-Lease a Bike through the end of 2028, committing her future to the Dutch squad and setting the Los Angeles Olympic Games as a central objective.

​The 34-year-old French rider said she feels settled within the team environment. “I really love being part of this team and I feel happy and at home here,” she said in a statement. “For the first time I feel truly understood, both as a person and as a rider. I don’t see myself going anywhere else.”

​Ferrand-Prévot, who returned to road racing last season after focusing on mountain biking, delivered immediate results, winning Paris-Roubaix and the Tour de France Femmes.

​Her new deal keeps her with the team through a cycle that culminates in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, where she hopes to perform at her best.

​She also confirmed plans to develop her time trialling in the coming seasons.

​Team CEO Richard Plugge and manager Rutger Tijssen praised her ambition and influence, describing her as a rider who elevates standards across the squad.
