Continental’s new Terra Competition gravel tire is built for one thing: speed promising faster rolling, lower weight, and sharper acceleration than the Terra Speed, with Race and Trail casing options in 35 mm and 45 mm.

Continental has expanded its Terra lineup with the launch of the Terra Competition, a new gravel tire engineered with one clear objective: speed.

Positioned as the fastest option in the Terra family, the German manufacturer is targeting riders who blur the line between road and gravel on the same ride.

The Terra Competition is designed for high-pace efforts across compact tracks, light gravel, and asphalt transitions.

Rather than focusing on deep mud or loose terrain, Continental has prioritized low rolling resistance and aerodynamic efficiency. The aim is to reduce energy loss at sustained speeds and deliver sharper acceleration when the pace increases.

According to Continental, the Terra Competition is up to 16% lighter and rolls up to 17% faster than the Terra Speed, previously the brand’s quickest gravel model.

The model will be available in 35 mm and 45 mm widths, accommodating both road-oriented setups and modern gravel configurations.

It comes in Race and Trail casing options, allowing cyclists to prioritize either maximum speed or added resilience.

Pricing in Europe starts at €68.95.
